How to Plant When choosing a location to grow hyssop, remember that the plants should get about 2 feet tall. They will have very bright and vibrant blue flowers and are a favorite of bees. Choose an area with full sunlight. Plant in dry, sandy, light and rocky soil. Water moderately.
When to Harvest Collect the flowers once they begin to bloom in the early or mid summer. You an also collect the leaves and stems. Continue harvesting as long as the plant is blooming, which usually goes into the fall. |
