"I ordered 3 sets of 5 bareroots. I planted them all in the same soil, on the same watering schedule, in the same location. Out of the fifteen total bare roots, five never emerged from "dormancy".. they still look like dead twigs sitting in the soil. I expect some loss when buying live plants, but when one third of the plants you bought never even had a chance, it's a bummer. The ten bareroots that have began growing did so promptly after planting."

"I recently bought 25 strawberries. 1 plant did not survive the trip and 1 seems iffy so time will tell about that one but the others are doing great. I soaked them as instructed and planted them in peat pots immediately. Because it can still freeze where I live I am caring for them in the house under grow lights and they are very happy plants."
